Art Senzafine

Born in 1979, Oana Cosug graduated from the 'Luceafarul' Art Academy. Oana Cosug has already participated in many group exhibitions and opened 3 solo exhibitions. In 2003 she was awarded the 'A. Podoleanu' Prize and received the young artists grant from the Romanian Professional Artists' Association.
She has presented works in Holland, Belgium, USA and Romania.

The message she want to transmit trough in she works is that they represent an illusion of what is happening in the world. She represents the visualization of a world stimulated by everyday life. The eroticism conveyed at times in her work, the body is subject to and all is made in very sensual form and mysterical way; is about comunication between people and art.
The theme is going down to the essential role and influence of colour
on any part of human life. The strong symbolism of the colours
expresses
itself
in language and art, the signal effect of colour is used in
advertising and
design,
colour take psychological influence on the unconsciousness, perception
and
emotion.
What would be the world without colour? So what is the identity of
colour?
These are some of the preocupations and obsesion of the artist.
