o nadia radulescu
Nadia Radulescu is born in 1957 in Bucharest, Romania. She graduated from the 'Carol Davilla' University School of Medicine in Bucharest in 1982.
She studied painting with the well-known romanian artist Elena Uta-Chelaru and became a member of the 'Ion Tuculescu' Medical Artists Association.
Since 1999, after leaving her medical career to dedicate to art, she has many group and solo exibitions under the artistic name NadiRa.
NadiRa's works are held in private collections in Romania, Germany, Canada, Italy, Luxembourg and Denmark.
Helped by her medical studies of anatomy, she owns the secrets of the design of the human body in its complexity, cristallizing the woman's body into forms of uncommon beauty, almost always in motion (dance, surrender, narcissist self-adoration, provocation).
NadiRa's themes are young, graceful and dynamic, of a remarkable beauty and vitality.
The expressionism speaks its mind also in chromatic field. Through cascades and dynamic brush strokes, the artist is a master of vivid and intense colours that sprawl in her pictural creations.
