Mirela Traistaru is born in 1972 in Bistrita, Romania. She graduated the Arts University in Cluj, Romania, after which she received a master degree in painting in Bucharest, Romania.
Her works are influenced by viennese art-nouveaux, being inspired by the beautiful and happy part of daily life.
She has held personal exhibitions in the U.S, the Netherlands, India, Egypt and Romania. She also has held group exhibitions in France, Turkey and Serbia.
From my early years of life I've been fascinated by colors. From the very first moment I touched the brush I started to paint on everything I could. After many years of school I finally became a professional and my passion transformed into my job. Now I paint on almost every kind of surfaces, including walls of public spaces like: banks, hotels, restaurants etc. I also paint on furniture and make theatre costumes and backstage designs.
